Do you remember Jack and his briefcase? Ok, so we'll be writing an ending for that story; the last part of which was:
He put the briefcase on the table and pushed it towards him.
Each person will have to write a paragraph and before that will also need to read the previous entry so as to continue the story. Please, remember to use the connecting words we've gone through in unit 4 and pay attention to the past tenses ;)

Unit 3
Hi there!
What we are going to be doing this time is a game. We'll be describing someone's life by using the second and third conditionals and you'll have to guess who that person is! After you have your chance to guess, you'll have to give a new description.
I'll be first:
1- If this person hadn't cheated on his wife with a famous singer, he wouldn't have become well- known in Spain.
2- He wouldn't have been sentenced to jail if he hadn't embezzled a load of money.
3- If Spanish laws weren't so lenient, he'd still be in prison.
Do you know who this person is?

Unit 1
Hi guys,
As some of you already know, I worked and studied in the States some years ago. I chose Indiana University because it’s one of the best universities in Linguistics in the country. Besides, even though it’s in the Midwest (and I should say in the middle of nowhere, the Deep America indeed) it’s a very international university as there are lots of foreign students enrolled in it. Moreover, the Music School also has a very good reputation for it’s considered to be one of the best ones in the world, so many events and concerts take place in town. On top of it, not only did they pay for my tuition but also gave me a job as a language assistant so that my experience would be great both in terms of teaching and studying.
Now, if you were to study at an American university for a year which one would you choose and why? Take into account several factors such as the field of your study and courses offered, location, etc. You can find a list of universities by state in the links below. Do some research into some unis and once you’ve taken your decision, post it! You can also reply to each other or make a comment on someone else´s answer if you like.

COMMENTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS
Dear all,
This entry is for you to post any kind of question, comment, link to articles, news, videos or whatever you think may be of interest to us along the year. If you also wish to post some doubt or question regarding vocabulary or grammar from the book or just English in general, go ahead and do that.
I do hope that you can all contribute with relevant comments, questions, links and suggestions throughout the course. After all, this will be everyone's entry so let's try to keep it going!
Luis, you've done a great job making that vocab/grammar excel tool. I'm sure all your classmates appreciate it. I do too :) Why don't you post it here?
